Payments & Billing

Neither you nor any credit repair company has the right to have accurate, current, and verifiable information removed from your credit report. Only inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable information can be disputed and potentially removed.
Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (15 U.S.C. § 1692) protects consumers from abusive, unfair, and deceptive practices by debt collectors.
Your Rights Under FDCPA
Stop Harassment
Debt collectors cannot harass, threaten, or use abusive language. They cannot call before 8am or after 9pm.
Request Validation
You can request written validation of the debt within 30 days of first contact. The collector must stop until they provide it.
Request No Contact
You can send a written request to stop all contact. The collector can only contact you to confirm or notify of legal action.
Privacy Protection
Collectors cannot discuss your debt with others (except your spouse, attorney, or co-signers).
No False Statements
Collectors cannot lie about the amount owed, threaten arrest, or misrepresent themselves.
Sue for Violations
You can sue collectors who violate the FDCPA for up to $1,000 in statutory damages plus actual damages.

Consumer Credit File Rights Under State and Federal Law
You have a right to dispute inaccurate information in your credit report by contacting the credit bureau directly. However, neither you nor any "credit repair" company or credit repair organization has the right to have accurate, current, and verifiable information removed from your credit report.
The credit bureau must remove accurate, negative information from your report only if it is over 7 years old. Bankruptcy information can be reported for 10 years.
You have a right to obtain a copy of your credit report from a credit bureau. You may be charged a reasonable fee. There is no fee, however, if you have been turned down for credit, employment, insurance, or a rental dwelling because of information in your credit report within the preceding 60 days.
You are entitled to receive a free copy of your credit report if you are unemployed and intend to apply for employment in the next 60 days, if you are a recipient of public welfare assistance, or if you have reason to believe that there is inaccurate information in your credit report due to fraud.
You have a right to sue a credit repair organization that violates the Credit Repair Organization Act. This law prohibits deceptive practices by credit repair organizations.

Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Step 2: Binding Arbitration
If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, you and Maximum Fico Score agree to resolve any claims through binding arbitration rather than in court, except for claims that may be brought in small claims court.
Arbitration Terms
- Arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.
- Arbitration will take place in Kern County, California, or another mutually agreed location.
- The arbitrator's decision will be final and binding.
- Each party will bear their own costs, unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.
Class Action Waiver
You agree that any dispute resolution will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
Exceptions
This arbitration agreement does not prevent you from filing a complaint with the CFPB, FTC, or your state attorney general.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Maximum Fico Score provides services to residents of states where credit repair services are legal and permitted. By using our services, you represent that credit repair services are legal in your state of residence.
